Mood is one of key parameters of all dwarfs (Health, fatigue, attention, mood)

If mood is too low, dwarfes can stop working and start striking.

Modd is going down during working hours and going up during spare time. During development dwarfes becomes more and more demanding to the places where they spend their free time. If technology does not support their demand it results in drammatical mood drop even during spare time.

Level of technology development is calculated as average maximum experience available across all population and does not take into consideration any invention available. This means when dwarfes have maximum experience as 200, they will demand top buildings even if they are not available and even if you are still on the first mission in the campaign (Stone World)
